Safely climbing on via ferratas. What a dream! What do you need to know and what do you need to pay attention to? What equipment do you need and how do you use it correctly? In this course you will learn the basics of climbing via ferratas alone and safely. We will also climb together on some of the most beautiful and scenic via ferratas around Arco.
Together with one of our experienced, German-speaking mountain guides, this via ferrata week will be a fantastic, educational experience. Register now!

Lunch and drinks, dinner approx. €25 per day
Tips
Trips to the via ferratas with your own car or, if necessary, taxi costs to the respective starting points of the tours

Payment information

Deposit: 30% upon booking.
Final payment: At least 60 days before the course starts.
Last minute bookings: For bookings made less than 60 days before the course starts, the full amount is due immediately.

Multi-day tours:
If the minimum number of participants is not reached (see above), we will inform you by email at least 14 days before the start of the tour.
Day tours:
For day tours, you will be informed by email by 10:00 a.m. the day before whether the tour will take place or not.

Note for people with reduced mobility

This program is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Suggestion

The area around Arco and Lake Garda is known for its many great via ferratas. A special via ferrata is the Sentiero dei Contrabbandieri between Riva del Garda and Limone - an exposed path directly above Lake Garda. You could add this path as a further guided tour after the course has ended.

Day 1: Via ferrata training and Colodri via ferrata directly above Arco
Via ferrata B/C - 300m ascent and descent - 3h

After the welcome and course introduction, we start directly with the via ferrata training. Material knowledge, climbing technique and safe behavior on the via ferrata. We then climb the beautiful Colodri via ferrata above Arco. This was only completely renovated in spring 2024. The tour for the following day is planned together.

Day 4: Gerardo Sega via ferrata and course completion
Via ferrata B/C - 950m ascent and descent - 7h

Day 3: Via dell'Amicizia Cima SAT
Fishing route B/C - 1,200m ascent and descent - 7-8h

A superlative via ferrata day. We climb high above Lake Garda to the Cima SAT (1,260 m). Below us lies the north coast of Lake Garda with Riva del Garda.

Day 2: Sentiero attrezzato Fausto Susatti
Fishing route A/B - 1,000m ascent and descent - 6h

Today we will deepen our training - for this we will use the via ferrata to the Cima Capi. The path takes us past old front paths and observation posts. The descent is via the Foletti path.
