Kleine Zinne Normal Route IV
Via the normal route to the Kleine Zinne. Exciting tour with your mountain guide from South Tyrol
The Kleine Zinne, Cima Piccola di Lavaredo, is the smallest of the Three Peaks at 2,857 m. The Kleine Zinne massif has other peaks in addition to the main peak - the Punta Frida at 2,792 m and the Preußturm at 2,700 m. The summit structure of the Kleine Zinne, due to its narrow shape, is reached with climbing at difficulty level IV. Other climbs are the Gelbe Kante at grade VI UIAA on the south edge, Innerkofler Führe IV+ and Fehrmannkamin V+ on the north face, Egger-Sauscheck, Ötzi meets Yeti and Gelbe Mauer (also throwing pearls before swine) on the south face. These are just to name a few.
The Preußturm (Cima Piccolissima) was named after its first climber, Paul Preuß, in 1928. A particularly beautiful route is the Cassin on the south face.
The first ascent of the Kleine Zinne took place on July 25, 1881 from the southwest.
This normal route to the Kleine Zinne is characterized by the exposed climbing, the chimney finale and the exciting abseiling slope. In terms of climbing difficulty, this climb is the hardest climb on one of the Three Peaks. However, you will meet fewer rope teams on this route... and the view from the summit is gigantic. Experiencing this tour with a mountain guide is a unique Dolomites experience.

We had a great week on the ice climbing advanced course! Florian always gave us help when we needed it and gave us the knowledge we needed to be able to climb on ice independently. I can definitely recommend him as a mountain guide.
